Job description
In this function you will have the following responsibilities:
Coordinate the daily supply of materials by contacting and motivating suppliers in order to assure and continuously improve the quality, on time delivery and logistic handling of supplied parts.
In case of potential delivery problems or quality problems, you will inform in time the internal customer, and take counter measures to prevent or solve the problems.
Launch purchasing orders according to the production program. Manage logistic parameters that influence the stock level in line with company goals.
Negotiate prices with suppliers for specific product groups.
Provide instructions on packaging to suppliers to ensure quality of supplied materials and limit internal handling to a minimum.
Related administrative tasks supporting the sourcing manager such as supplier invoice administration, inventory management, reporting measuring points, filing of technical documentation.
You will report to the sourcing manager.
Requirements:
-At least 2 years of working experience in purchasing and/or planning department
-Acceptable command of English (read/speak/write)
-Experience with ERP systems
-Education: college or higher or equal through experience.
-Good communication skills
-Knowledge of mechatronic products is a plus
