职位描述及要求:
The Position: Chief Operating Officer China
The Candidate:
A pleasant personality with outstanding interpersonal & communication skills with a BE Tech / BE in Textile Technology & PG Qualification in Business management with 10-15 years of experience in Apparel / Home Textiles industry is a pre-requisite.
Must be a good team player, motivator co-coordinating with inter & intra teams. Should be able to handle in a high stress environment. Quality & cost consciousness coupled with meeting targets is a must with cross functional exposure on all facets of business. Should be a tough task master and be able to drive the team for time bound results and meet budgets. Will be responsible for the P&L
The Job:
1.The position reports to the CEO.
2.Should be an outstanding administrator, be able to transform the vision to an action plan, develop and implement strategy for operational management and development so as to meet agreed organizational performance plans within agreed budgets and timescales (covering relevant areas of operation – Viz. manufacturing, distribution, administration, product development, vendor development , QA Systems whatever falls within remit according to organization’s structure)
3.Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of operational management and development.
4.Effective & efficient utilization / deployment of men, machine & materials on international standards.
5.Suggest key inputs for future growth and implement organization initiatives on best practices of manufacturing techniques to be implemented in our nominated vendor establishment.
6.Monitor, measure and report on operational issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales
7.Manage and develop direct reporting staff. Must posses excellent people management skills.
8.Manage and control departmental expenditure within agreed budgets
9.Liaise with other functional/departmental managers so as to understand all necessary aspects and needs of operational development, and to ensure they are fully informed of operational objectives, purposes and achievements
10.Maintain awareness and knowledge of contemporary operational development theory and methods and provide suitable interpretation to directors, managers and staff within the organization
11.Contribute to the evaluation and development of operational strategy and performance in co-optation with the executive team
12.Ensure activities meet with and integrate with organizational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duty of care.
