Product Line: Sundry Items, mainly for Manual & Electric Tools and Car Accessory

GENERAL MISSION

The Quality Coordinator (QCO) is dedicated to a business unit or a technical field and primarily focuses on accelerating the pre-production lab test (TCF) cycle time. He works on quality–related issues with suppliers/factories, tests laboratories in very close coordination with AIE Quality Department in Villeneuve and ATC Product Engineer. He is in charge of:
-Coordinate and communicate with others departments, suppliers and customers
-Manage administrative documents related to quality

FUNCTIONS:

He coordinates and communicates with others departments, suppliers and customers

-Provide to buyers and merchandisers item status visibility in terms of quality compliance
-Outline to them non-compliances that are likely to jeopardize the on-time delivery of the item and inform the Buyer/Merchandiser
-Communicate with the Product Engineer, the Quality Manager, Villeneuve Quality Department about quality results
-Manage information and documents exchange and flow between suppliers, laboratories, inspection companies and AIE teams and maintain with them the best working relationship

He manages administrative documents related to quality and inform concerned people if necessary

-Check the Quality Statement (QS), compare with the Compliance Gap Analysis
-Monitor TCF status with supplier and testing laboratory
-Manage documents as Key Performance Indicators with QM’s help and follow-up approval of pending inspection report
-Prepare and brief the Buyer and the merchandiser in a weekly PPT status review meeting – set up to clear all pending cases.

All the activities should be on the basis of Auchan Ethic Rules

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION

Knowledge:
Degree holder in Technical Engineering
Knowledge about testing Laboratory or in quality control and ISO9001 audit with the international purchasing office on a major foreign retailer in China
Knowledge of international trade
Knowledge of computer tools
Fluent English both in spoken & written
