Product Line: Textile （纺织品服装）
GENERAL MISSION
He is in charged of monitoring the implementation of the sourcing plan and is responsible of the new supplier sourcing quality. He reinforce team’s knowledge to support buyers in negotiation.
FUNCTIONS
Monitor the implementation of sourcing plan and be responsible for the new supplier sourcing quality
- Monitor the daily work of sourcing buyer, ensure the new supplier sourcing needs worked out by commercial buyers is carried out on time.
- Improve the suppliers sourcing quality by optimizing the sourcing process, supplier audit template , coaching team on audit techniques.
- Ensure the follow-up of supplier recommendation result and improve the supplier transformation ratio.
- Make proposals to improve the global sourcing process.
Reinforce the quality support for textile country business
- Set up seasonal recruitment plan for RSIP edition
- Ensure on-time issue of RSIP for country specific orders
- Establish the sample approval, monitor the daily work of technician and on time issue of approval comments.
Reinforce the on spot control of supplier who performs Auchan order.
- Establish QA/ merchandiser communication process for file sharing at the beginning of order placement and during the production.
- Establish the strategy of supplier visiting before each new season starts, based on discussion with product manager.
- Monitor the daily work of QA, ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the supplier visiting and ensure that the follow-up actions are taken.
- Trace closely supplier’s performance improvement on delivery and inspection.
Reinforce team’s knowledge of product costing to support buyers in negotiation.
- Establish tools to inform team monthly the price evolution of raw materials and major textile fabrics.
- Develop capability in the team to calculate real cost of product. Ex : factory to assist in some hard negotiation.
- Provide information to commercial team concerning production tendency, production methods and costs , raw materials, workmanship, fabric to improve the global sourcing process.
Sample room and showroom management
- set-up sample room and showroom management system, ensure product in samples room is well recorded, rotated and easily accessed.
- Ensure showroom is best utilization during peak season.
Management of the team to develop professionalism and team spirit.
- Have the responsibility of recruiting, training and coaching his team.
- Help his team to achieve its targets and improve its professionalism and its efficiency.
- Ensure the good relationship with his team and the others departments and the working efficiency of his business unit
- Define the individual objectives in agreement with his commercial director and monitor performance of his team.
- Establish a customer and service oriented team culture.
All the activities should be on the basis of Auchan Ethic Rules
