职位描述及要求:
Support Category Marketing Team in managing Staples'product portfolio, drive product marketing related functions to ensure overall profitable growth and market position.
Responsibilities:
1.Act as a leader during the new product introduction process for assigned product lines and selected strategic projects.
2.Liaise closely with product development, procurement, sales and internal business groups closely during new product introduction processes to ensure new products to ensure market success throughout all channels.
3.In conjunction with all functional departments, conduct associated costing & pricing analyses based upon project/product requirements and determines respective positioning for all channels.
4.Direct periodical analysis to monitor assigned product line performance and analyze market trends
5.Closely liaise with marketing research & product development team to direct market analysis on competitive products and market trends on a continuous basis.Maintain appropriate relationship with internal customers in order to continually abreast of product needs & trends.
6.Participate in product features/function/benefit evaluation process to determine necessary criteria in satisfying market needs, together with internal & external resources.
7.Collaborate with SBU & Central marketing, internal business groups to design and implement product marketing requirement; inclusive yet not limited to campaign, sales tools, collaterals and customer retention program.
8.Be an equal partner of customer solution team to support strategic projects, from best-in-class product solution perspective.
9.Act as contact point for product-related enquiry, for internal & external customers.
10.Liaise with KTC (Knowledge Training Center) and human resources to coordinate product training for internal & external customer(s) on regular basis.
Requirements:
1.University degree in engineering, business or marketing focus.
2.Work experience in product marketing,Office furniture industry experience, merchandising, OEM/ODM is highly preferred.
3.A minimum of three years experience in field of product marketing. Candidate with less experience will be considered for category executive role.
4.Excellent computer skills, proficiency in data analysis software is desirable.
5.Interior design trend savvy.
6.Good written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese.
7.Ability to handle multiple projects in a parallel manner.
8.Well organized in information, resources and time.
9.Good analytical and presentation skills.
10.Superior people skills.
11.Occasional Travel Required.
