职位描述及要求：
Job Responsibilities
Determine the technical needs of customers and provide service in such a way that they are able to use Desotech products.
Manage DDSC technical service laboratory in China to enhance productivity, set priorities and avoid extraneous testing.
Monitor competitive and customer technical developments, new applications and new products in the Asia/Pacific region and share that knowledge on a timely basis with the appropriate associates.
Investigate, document and resolve customer’s technical complaints in a timely fashion. This will require decisions to be made whether the potential business is worth the cost that might be expended to solve the problem.
Communicate effectively within the Desotech efficiently to make optimal use of worldwide technical expertise.
Establish a relationship with appropriate equipment vendors in order to have advance knowledge of process improvements, have our products approved for use, and have our products recommended for commissioning of the equipment.
Assist in the training of Asia/Pacific Account Managers, sales agents and distributors so that they can also effectively promote DSM Desotech products.
Write technical papers and create presentations that can be used to help promote DSM Desotech’s image and brands.
Report fully, regularly and in the proper format according to the DSM China procedures and DSM Desotech standards.

Qualifications & Attributes
Minimum of a B.S. degree in chemistry or chemical engineering with a good knowledge in physics.
Master of Science degree is preferable.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Technical knowledge of UV cured materials or coatings.
Fluent in Mandarin is beneficial, but not required.
Must be skilled in the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Either 5 or more years experience in Technical Service of coatings or equivalent amount of time responsible for optical fiber production.
Must have managerial experience, preferably with multi-cultural staff.
Must have experience in writing and making presentations.
