职位描述及要求：
Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for providing initial cost estimate by reviewing concept drawing and technical specification.
2. Understand and manage the impact of cost challenges. Develop feasible cost saving options to achieve target prices.
3. Prepare product quote package (specification, functional and safety requirement, schedule, etc) to vendor/factory for quotation.
4. Perform component sourcing and provide competitive cost.
5. Responsible for analyzing factory quotation and negotiating with suppliers to ensure competitive cost and meet budget price point.
6. Perform post-project costing analysis and report.
7. Responsible for the building and maintenance of soft toy costing database.
8. Setting up the soft toy costing system.
9. New vendor/supplier sourcing.

Requirements:

1. 3 to 6 years working experience in soft toy development of plush factory.
2. College graduated in textile/fabric related disciplines is a plus.
3. Applicant with lesser experience would be considered as Cost Engineer.
4. Strong soft toy development background. Sound knowledge of plush materials selection and manufacturing process.
5. Proficient in soft toy sample making, able to translate concept drawings to sewing patterns, build up the bills of material and identify tooling aids for production.
6. Specialized in soft toy costing & materials sourcing.
7. Experienced in working with licensed plush character preferred.
8. Ability to analyze supplier quotations and posses sound commercial acumen.
9. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and interfaces with employees at all levels of the organization, customers and vendors in a cross functional environment.
10. Must possess strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
11. Strong Analytical skills, detailed oriented & well organized.
12. Must be responsible & able to work effectively, both independently and as a member of a team.
13. Ethical personal integrity.
14. Fluent in both spoken & written Chinese.
15. Good command in English (writing and speaking) is an advantage.
16. Proficient knowledge in Windows & MS Office (MS Excel, Word, Power Point, etc).
