职位描述及要求：
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- To provide support to Regional Compliance Head to ensure the Branch’s operation compliance with those local and central requirements and standards.
- To promote the implementation of policies on compliance issues which are material to Group.
- To assist Regional Compliance Head to promote compliance with the Group Code of Conduct in China.
- To enhance the Group’s relationships with its central regulators as well as local regulators , so as to maximize the benefit to the Bank flowing from those relationships.
- To acting as a contact person for regulator’s requirement and survey as well as on-site inspections, and to make sure all the reports and survey in branch are timely submitted.
- To provide a pro-active and consultative advisory service to staff in branch on compliance related issues.
- To manage regulatory problems arising from alleged or actual breaches of regulatory requirements or ethical standards, where there is a material risk to the reputation of the Bank or its relationship with its regulators, so as to avoid/minimize reputation damage.


SELECTION CRITERIA:

- Solid experience in banking industry, preferably in finance or operations.
- Thorough knowledge of banking operations.
- Sound knowledge on local regulatory requirements, local banking practices and requirements
- Good self discipline, time management, and able to withstand heavy workload
- Sound communication and presentation skills. Local regulator relationship management skills will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and able to present ideas clearly and in a persuasive manner. Meticulous, risk conscious and possesses logical thinking skills.
- Excellent communicator in written and spoken Chinese and English.
- Flexible, adaptable and able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Good PC skills
